Just bought myself a Wild Country Coshee after owning a Vango Banshee for about a decade or more, and I've gotta say, I think Vango makes a better quality tent overall. There are various things about the Wild Country that are a bit questionable. I'll be buying Vango in future.

Robens tents are very underrated, in my opinion. I’ve got a Challenger 2, same material and weight as the Starlight. Really strong and like yours, never had a drop of water or condensation in it. And it cost me less than 130 quid.

Instead of using glue you should try to use vaseline. Spread some vaseline over the skin and during the process when cleaning the ink with paper drop more vaseline before hiting with the needles. In the end let it dry for 24h and after wash.

Love to see the broads in lovely weather altho it looked pretty waterlogged at times.

interested in the Staravor or the Robens Starlight 2, this seems to be roomier, love the adjusting the external zip from inside, but feel the Robens is a stronger tent in worse weather. thanks for the review Ginge

Hi. I was up on the Mendips in Somerset last night in Storm Garrit, in My Starlight 1. Really great tent. Wind speeds up to 50mph, driving rain, no problems. No condensation or leaks, and it never budged. All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧⛺️💨

is it posible to use paint thinner rather than mineral spirit? ive red that they are the same. mineral spirit are expensive in my country

Nice to see the river so full never paddled it at that level you will have to paddle it when it’s low, it’s a totally different river full of rocks rapids and limited choice of paddle lines sometimes but a great experience, loved the 360 camera and great filming and editing looks like you had a blast,

I've used this system to refill my canisters for years, now. Works perfectly. Some of my canisters have been refilled at least 20 times.

The holes you drilled at the top of the stove actually do something . They allow air to flow into the can as the fire burns. Without those holes, the flame would extinguish. 👍🏼

The water pipes from Brandygill beck above were mostly for the drills that were powered by compressed air but the drill steels had a hole down the centre for water to remove dust from the drill hole and also damp down any dust to reduce the chance of sylicosis, in freezing weather we often had to lower the frozen 2 inch alkathene water pipes into the mine till they thawed out then pull them out and connect them up again also water was used to wash down the walls to see the vein. The rock either side of the ore bearing quartz vein was Gabro north of grainsgill beck and Griesen south of the beck . The south side of the mine was dammed up and filled with tailings from the mill so I dont think there is any access to it, at least not from the main addit.

Ok ok make a grown man cry why don't ya......I miss the captain and he was indeed always by my side....I even chose jobs that would let him come too or be close by ..he only stayed home if absolutely necessary.... I asked for a brucetastic holster ages ago...thought you too busy to do it...then found out just days ago you'd done it....but didn't know till I saw the video that you'd put an inscription and doggo pic on it...yes I blubbered like a little girl....that was a very thoughtful thing to do and totally unexpected...your holster ..just like the captain....will indeed always be by my side ...and only left home if absolutely necessary.....it's poetic....thank you so very much my dear friend.....you have no idea what it mean......
